So I love listening to the Paperclipping Roundtable podcast put out by Paperclipping. I also listen to The Digi Show put out by The Daily Digi. All the "rage" right now is Project Life and other versions of the actual Project Life. I've been fascinated by the "pocket scrapbook" method for a while, and bought SOME pocket style page protectors a few years ago... and they just sat unused. But at some point this year on paperclipping, someone mentioned just getting those photos out of boxes and into 4x6 page protectors so they were viewable... and this weeks project was just that, to get the photos out of the boxes (I'm not bringing up the mystery drawer of photos just yet. I went to Michaels to purchase a pack of JUST 4x6 protectors and found a pack by We R Memory keepers that had 25 total sheets that turned out to be the best price point (with my 50% off coupon, of course).
I got home, sad down at the table and filled up those pockets. I went to find the ones I had purchased a few years ago, and those are waiting to be filled (but those weren't all 4x6, those are a variety pack... but also by We R Memory Keepers, I had purchased them at Archivers).
I can't wait to keep you updated on my progress, I can tell you that I'm already feeling inspired to scrap batches of these older photos and having them out like this lets me know how many I have to work with. AHHHH! It's a great feeling (and they take up so much less space, AND I have a project in mind for one of those boxes previously used to store photos!
:)
