Thanks using scraps and a sketch

This is the other card I had made prior to NSD for some festivities. I used scraps laying around my scraproom, some paint for the blue cardstock and some LOVELY cork pieces, tiny clothespin and ribbon from SpiegelMomScraps. Here was the sketch we were given at SpiegelMomScraps Facebook page. Don't forget, before you check out at SpiegelMomScraps, be sure and use coupon code Charity10 to save on your whole order!

And here is what I came up with. I LOVE this card! I hope the person I mailed it to smiles when she sees it! The doodling was done with a Sakura Souffle pen in yellow. I've been using all of my Sakura pens more on my cards and layouts since I started using them in my planner as well. I love those pens! I also broke out some thickers I hadn't used in a while. They are from one of the Dear Lizzy Collections, I just love that fat font!

Thanks to you for stopping by today. I posted a couple of haul videos last week that you might want to watch, my monthly Clique Kits haul as well as a haul from Paper Issues, and guess what, Paper Issues commented on the video with a coupon code for everyone!

Eighteen and a High School Graduate

More pictures from my 18th birthday/high school graduation. I hardly ever make a two page layout, but I didn't really feel like these pictures needed tons more layouts for the rest of the story, so I borrowed the idea of photostacks from Heidi Swapp and finished them out.

I am in love with the Persimmon collection from Basic Grey right now. I bought it a few weeks ago and I think there are four pieces of whole paper left and very few scraps. I have made three pages so far with it and none of them fall or Halloween.  I think these two work well together to be side by side in an album. I made a video so you could take a look at the photostacks, they are so simple, and I really have a good amount of journalling on these layouts.

Here are some closeups from each page:

And here is the video so you can see the photostacks close up:

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and have a look.

Happy Halloween part 2 of 2 :)

So here is the list of items I made for just the Halloween season of 2013:

1. A wreath for the door.
2. Some tags.
3. 3 Halloween Treat bags.
4. A mini album.

I sneaked a peek of this mini on my facebook page. I LOVE this paper pad and I'm so trying to use it up so I can get some more Halloweeny stuff. The paperpad that I have and surprisingly don't use is the original Tim Holtz Halloween pad... I have actually started using the backsides of these for the lovely kraft color and weight. Anyway here is the awesome mini (I think it's awesome, it's really flat on the inside so it can close after it gets some photos...

Thanks so much for looking!

And for a closer look, here's the video (be sure to like and subscribe on the youtube):
